The Singles is the first compilation album to be released by Soft Cell. The album was issued on vinyl, cassette and CD in 1986 and features all their singles, in chronological order, from the albums Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret, The Art of Falling Apart and This Last Night in Sodom.[2] The CD booklet includes a November 1986 essay by Tony Mitchell.

Notes

"Loving You, Hating Me" was the proposed third UK single from The Art of Falling Apart. It was never actually released in the UK and only saw release as a single in the US.[3]
